The Military Snacko Organization (MSO) is a non-profit veterans organization. Units may request to join the MSO through assignment to the parent organization or as an attached auxiliary unit. By default, all new accounts are independent accounts and must receive approval to join the MSO before they can operate as an assigned or attached unit.


Independent Unit

Independent units can use many of the services provided at www.snacko.org but are responsible for their own legal structure, compliance and reporting requirements, and tax-exempt approval if desired. Independent units are not eligible for native payments but may connect a supported external account to facilitate digital payments.

Attached Unit

A unit which conforms to the requirements of the MSO but operates under their own legal structure may affiliate with the MSO as an attached auxiliary unit. Attached units may be eligible for tax-exemption through the Military Snacko Organization and receive assistance with annual IRS reporting requirements. Attached units can choose to use native or connected payments.

Assigned Unit

As an assigned unit you'll operate directly with the Military Snacko Organization. Assigned units don't have to obtain a separate EIN or open separate checking account. Using native payments we'll issue you a spend card to make purchases directly from your available balance and handle applicable IRS reporting requirements.
