Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 20, 2026

TDPI LLC operates the Snacko software platform. This Privacy Policy describes how TDPI LLC ("Snacko," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use snacko.org, the Snacko iPhone app, the Snacko Register app, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Participating units and the separate Military Snacko Organization may also maintain records through the Services for their own authorized purposes. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

  • Account and contact information. We collect information such as your name, callsign, email address, authentication identifiers, Snacko user ID, unit membership identifiers, and account preferences.
  • Unit and member records. We store unit memberships, manager roles, member statements, balances, transactions, purchases, reimbursements, expenses, catalog entries, and other records entered or maintained through the Services.
  • Payment information. We collect payment amounts, status, processor, transaction references, payment-method type, and limited payment-method details such as brand and last four digits when provided by a processor. Card numbers, security codes, Apple Pay credentials, and bank credentials are collected and processed by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by Snacko.
  • Device and diagnostic information. We collect a Snacko-generated device identifier, device model, operating-system version, app version and build, timezone, region, IP address, request metadata, and diagnostic or error information needed to authenticate devices, secure payments, troubleshoot problems, and operate the Services.
  • Location and nearby-device access. The Snacko iPhone app requests location and Bluetooth access only when needed for in-person payments or supported card readers. Stripe or Square may collect precise or approximate location and reader/device information as described by their own privacy practices.
  • Information you choose to provide. This includes optional receipt email addresses and descriptions, categories, vendor references, catalog information, or other content entered while using member or manager features.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users and devices; associate users with their units and member accounts; operate stores, tabs, statements, payments, reimbursements, and manager tools; send receipts and service messages; prevent fraud and duplicate charges; support users; diagnose errors; maintain security and availability; comply with legal and accounting requirements; and improve the Services. We do not use Snacko data for cross-app advertising tracking.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide and protect the Services. This may include:

  • authorized managers of a participating unit, who can access that unit's member and operational records;
  • the separate Military Snacko Organization when a unit participates in an MSO program and the information is needed to administer that relationship;
  • payment providers selected by the unit, including Stripe and Square, and Apple when Apple Pay or Tap to Pay is used;
  • Firebase for email-link authentication;
  • cloud hosting, storage, email, security, and support providers acting on our behalf; and
  • government authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or needed to investigate fraud or abuse.

We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers for targeted advertising.

Payment Providers

A unit determines whether Stripe, Square, or both are available for its transactions. Payment credentials are transmitted to the selected provider through that provider's software and systems. Saved payment methods are represented in Snacko by processor-issued references and limited display information; they are usable only where the selected processor and account configuration support them. Stripe and Square process information under their respective privacy policies.

Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain unit and member records, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirements.

You may initiate permanent account deletion from the Profile screen in the Snacko iPhone app. Account access is disabled when the request is accepted, and requests are normally completed within 30 days. We will email you when processing is complete. We delete or de-identify personal information that we are not required to retain. Certain transaction, payment, tax, accounting, security, or dispute records may be retained when required or permitted by law. You may also contact support@snacko.org with privacy questions or to exercise other applicable privacy rights.

Your Choices

You can edit your user name information in the app, manage iPhone location and Bluetooth permission in iOS Settings, choose among payment methods made available by your unit, log out, and request account deletion. A unit may separately maintain member information and financial records that its managers are authorized or required to administer.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password where applicable and contact us if you believe your account or device token has been compromised.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Services, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
